The Saskatoon Outlaws captured their 15th Saskatoon AA Men's League Title on Wednesday evening at Cairns Field in Saskatoon. The Outlaws defeated the Marysburg Royals 2-0 in the Best of 3 league final between the top two teams in the loop. Marysburg found their way to the final after sweepng their Best of 3 semi-final series against the Saskatoon Dodgers while the Outlaws swept their semi-fnal series as well over the Saskatoon Stallions

In  the opener of the championship series, the Outlaws werew able to hold of the Royals by a score of 5-3. Marc Lepage collected the win on the hill for Saskatoon while Jordan Frey collected the save in relief. Thomas Lessmeister took the loss for Marysburg. In Game 2, the pitchers dominated thos game as Saskatoon came out on top 2-0. Jorday Fray picked up the win while Eric Thimm collected the save. Brody Frerichs was the tough luck losing pitcher for Marysburg while Brody Vogel was named the playoff MVP. 

Congrats to both clubs on a wonderful run this season. Looking forward to follwoing a little more closely next summer.
