Men's AAA Baseball Off and Running for 2023 Season
5/16/2023by CABC Admin

The Men's AAA Baseball Season is off and running across the country. This year, the CABC will be covering nine leagues across seven provinces. Five of these league have already started with the Greater Toronto Baseball League (GTBL), COBA Major Baseball League (COBA Major), Southwestern Men's AAA Baseball League (SWSBL), the Can-Am Baseball League and the Sunburst League based out of Alberta all into their 2023 seasons. The New Brunswick Senior Baseball League (NBSBL) and the Ligue Majeur Baseball de Quebec (LMBQ) both starti ng play this weekend. The Saskatoon Men's Baseball League and the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball Leagues are the other two leagues we will be following and those schedules will be posted once we receive them from the respective leagues.

The goal of the webiste is simple: To promote and grow the Men's AAA Baseball game across the country and create a one-stop resource where all of this information can be found on a yearly basis. This will be done by posting the schedule, results, standings and the playoff results for all teams in each of the leagues we will be covering. Not an easy task at all but so far things have been running pretty smoothly with great thanks to each of the leagues for getting us their game results each night. We will house all of this information on our national website (www.cabcbaseball.com) as well as on our national twitter feed as well (@CABCBaseball). We also have a facebook page where we will be posting results and different things there as well. In August, we willl be posting results for the Men's AAA National Tournament which will be taking place in beautiful Red Deer, Alberta. Look for those tabs to be posted later in the summer on the website

After a brief intro to the website last summer when we covered the playoffs for the LMBQ, the NBSBL and the NSSBL, we are really hoping for the site to take off this summer as we have our first full summer of coverage across the country. It has been amazing to see the engagements on social media from all of the different teams and leagues and we are really hoping to continue this trend throughout the summer months. Right now we are at 6,000 hits on the website and just over 1,000 followers on twitter. We are hoping to double the number of followers on twitter and (fingers crossed) get to 25,000 hits by the end of the summer on the site.

Please if you can, share with us your players, organizations and coaches and fans across Canada. We are working towards building a network that is going to be a lot of fun for everyone to be apart of each season. Later on in the summer we will also have our CABC clothing that we be back on sale as well. We have Hoodies, T-shirts, golf shirts, cage coats, baseball hats and toques that will up for sale with a potion of the proceeds going to help with the operation and cost of the website. Thank you to all of you that have reached out already. We hope you all enjoy the coverage across Canada this summer.
