The Canadian Amateur Baseball Central is proud to announce that their coverage this season will include the Border Baseball League which is based out of Manitoba. Last week, we added the Brandon Senior Baseball League and the South West Baseball League making this our 3rd league added from Manitoba for this season. This brings our grand total to 13 leagues being covered this year in eight provinces.
The Border Baseball League has eight teams taking part this summer. The Baldur Regals, Cartwright Twins, Pilot Mound Pilots and Clearwater make up the West Division while the Altona Bisons, Carman Cardinals, Morden Mud Hens and Winkler Whips will play out of the East Division. The league will play a 62-game regular season schedule with each team playing their divisional teams three times and the teams from the other division twice for a total of 17 games. At the completion of their regular season, the league will do their playoffs.
On behalf of the CABC, welcome to all eight teams and we are looking forward to following the action in your league this summer.
