We will now release our 4th edition of the CABC Men's AAA Top 10 Rankings for the 2025 season. The list is meant to have some fun and grow the sport of baseball at the Men's AAA level. These rankings are based on regular season play up to and including games played on July 12th, 2025. Here we go for Round 4...
Honorable Mentions
*Ilderton Riverhawks (7 - 4 Record; 3rd Place Southwestern League) (NR)
The Riverhawks had a quiet stretch of league play as they went 1 - 1 but also won the London Tournament beating Sarnia in the final.
*Calgary Rockies (9 - 6 Record; 2nd Place Sunburst League) (8)
The Rockies had a bit of a down stretch as they went 0 - 3 in Sunburst League action in the last few weeks.
*Cactus de Victoriaville (11 - 6 Record; 3rd Place Ligue du Quebec (NR)
After a slow start, the Cactus have shown a bit of a resurgence as they went 5 - 2 in LBMQ play the last few weeks.
*Saint John Alpines (11 - 5 Record; 2nd Place New Brunswick League) (NR)
After a bit of rain early, the Alpines have had a great few weeks in NB Men's AAA League going 7 - 3 over that time span.
*Marysburg Royals (12 - 2 Record; 1st Place Saskatoon League) (NR)
The Royals have been having anpther good season going 3 - 1over the last few weeks to remain in top spot in the loop.
*Cartwright Twins (12 - 2 Record; 1st Place Border League) (HM)
TheTwins had another successful regular season going 6 - 0over the past few weeks to finish atop the league standings.
*Etobicoke Rangers (16 - 4 Record; 1st Place COBA Major League) (HM)
The Rangers had another successful few weeks in league play going 8 - 2 to remain atop of the league standings in COBA
National Top 10 Rankings
#10 - Kendal Eagles (12 - 2 - 1 Record; 2nd Place Greater Toronto League) (NR)
The Kendal Eagles make their way into the National Top 10 Rankings for the first time in team history as they come in at #10 this time around. The Eagles have been playing some solid baseball on both sides of the diamond as they have used some great defense and pitching to help bolster their impressive hitting lineup as they have catapulted their way up the standings in the Greater Toronto Baseball League. Over the course of the last few weeks, the Eagles were 5 - 0 - 1 in league play including an impressive 10 - 5 win against the #3 ranked Newmarkey Hawks. If the Hawks can keep up this pace, look for them to make some noise at the Ontario National Qualifying Tournament in a few weeks.

#9 - Oak River Dodgers (13 - 2 Record; 1st Place South West League) (10)
The Oak River Dodgers move up one spot from our last rankings as they come into this week's National Top 10 Rankings at #9. The Dodgers have had a superb season this year which saw them being the year winning 11 straight games before dropping two of their last four league games. Based on their record, the Dodgers grab the #1 spot for the South West league playoffs which will be starting soon. Over the course of the last few weeks, Oak River was 4 - 2 in league play as they enter the playoffs this coming week.

#8 - Tecumseh Thunder (13 - 7 Record; 1st Place Can Am League) (5)
The Tecumseh Thunder take a bit of a plunge this time around as they come into this edition of the National Top 10 Rankings at #8. After a red hot start to the year, the Thunder came back down to earth a bit of the last little while as they went 3 - 5 in league play. They still possess the top spot in the league right now but the gap has closed a bit brtween them and the teams in their reearview mirror. Tecumseh will look to tighte the reigns as they creep closer to the Ontario National Qualifying Tournament as they look for their first title since 2018.

#7 - Castors Acton Vale (12 - 6 Record; 1st Place Ligue be Baseball Majeur du Quebec) (7)
The Castors d'Acton Vale hold their previous rankings this time around as they come into the National Top 10 Rankings at #7. The Castors continue to have a strong season this year as they sit in top spot in the Ligue de Baseball Majeur du Quebec. After dropping a tough championship final last year four games to two against the Cactus de Victoriaville, the Acton Vale club is back and looking to redeem themselves in the playoffs. The Castors were 4 - 2over the last few weeks in the LBMQ.

#6 - Charlottetown Islanders (10 - 6 Record; 2nd Place New Brunswick League) (3)
The Charlottetown Islanders take a bit of a slide in this edition of the National Top 10 Rankings as they enter this time around at #6. The Islanders have had a pretty good season in the New Brunswick Men's AAA League as they curretly sit in 2nd place overall. The team encountered a few struggles over the last few weeks though as they were 3 - 4 in league play closing the gap between the top three teams in the league. That being said, the Charlottetown has won the last two league championships and have shown a knack for being able to shift into a new gear when they need to.

#5 - Boissevain Centennials (12 - 2 Record; 2nd Place South West League) (6)
The Boissevain Centennials make a small jump in this edition of the National Top 10 Rankings as they move up one spot and sit at #5. The Centennials had a great stretch of baseball to close out their South West League regular season as they went 5 - 1 over he last few weeks of league play. They enter the playoffs as the #2 overall seed as they look to repeat as league playoff champions and hoepfully clinic a spot at the Manitoba Provincial Tournament in August. Boissevain will start their playoff run against the Wawanesa Brewers.

#4 - Sarnia Brigade (7 - 2 Record; 2nd Place Southwestern League) (9)
The Sarnia Brigade make a big jump this week in the National Top 10 Rankings as they make the biggest jump of any team (5 spots) and come in at #4 this time. After finishing in 2nd place at both the Gold Bat Tournament as well as the Ontario National Qualifying Tournament in 2024, the Brigade have shown that they are out to make a point this season as they have had a strong season here in Ontario. Despite only going 3 - 0 in league play of the course of the last few weeks, they did win the Gold Bat tournament going 5 - 0 including a 5 - 2win over the Windsor Stars in the final. They also went 4 - 1at the London Tournament finishing in 2nd place to the Ilderton Riverhawks.

#3 - Newmarket Hawks (14 - 2 Record; 1st Place Greater Toronto League) (4)
The Newmarket Hawks keep plugging along in 2025 as the move up one spot in the National Top 10 Rankings and currently sit at #3. The defending Onatrio Provincial champions had a great few weeks of league play in the GTBL as they went an impressive 6 - 1 over that course of time with their sole loss coming to the #10 Kendal Eagles club. Newmarket played some great baseball at the Gold Bat but bowed out to the Windsor Stars in the semis. They have another weekend of baseball at teh Hap Walters Tournament as they continue to prepare for the Ontario National Qualifying Tournament in August.

#2 - Dartmouth Dry (10 - 1 Record; 1st Place Nova Scotia League) (2)
The Dartmouth Dry retain their previous ranking in the National Top 10 Rankings as they stay in the #2 spot in this edition. The Dry had a very quiet last few weeks of league play as their schedule was hampered by a lot of rain that cancelled a good portion of their scheduled games. When they were able to get on the field, they went 1 - 1 suffering their first loss of the summer to the Metro Brewers. The Dry remain in control of the Nova Scotia loop right now as they have a three game lead over 2nd place Kentville.

#1 - Regina Trappers (9 - 1 Record; 1st Place Qu'Appelle Valley League) (1)
For the 3rd set of rankings in a row, the Regina Trappers grab the #1 spot in the CABC National Top 10 Rankings. The Trappers have been continuing to play some inspired baseball as of late as the club continues to lead the Qu'Apelle Valley standings. Like the Dartmouth club, the Regina club suffered their first loss of the season going 2 - 1 over the last few weeks dropping a game to the Regina Woodpeckers. After a pair of silver medals at the Canadian Championhips the last two years, the Trappers will now start to ramp up for Saskatchewan Provincials and Canadians as they look to finally win the gold in August.

Congrats to all of the teams that made the list this time around. After a few weeks, we will release our 5th edition of the rankings for the 2025 season following the Ontario Eliminations, Saskatchewan Provincials, Manitoba Provincials and Western Canadian Championships.
