2025 Western Canadian Championship Day 1 Recap

Day 1 of the 2025 Western Canadian Championships in Westlock, AB is in the books. After a busy day of action at Keller Field, the Cartwright Twins (2 - 0), West Winnipeg A's (2 - 0) and Kelowna Blue Jays (1 - 0) all wrapped up their day on the field undefeated. The Carlyle Cardinals (0 - 1), Parkland Twins (0 - 2) and Westlock Red Lions (0 - 2) are all still searching for their 1st win at this year's event. 

 

Here are all of the game summaries from the 1st day of action:

Day 2 action picks up at 9:00am MST with another five games on the slate today as teams look to try and qualify for Championship Sunday. Also, on Saturday at 11:30am before the final Westlock round robin game, there will be a brief ceremony in memory of Chuck Keller. If you are in town, make sure to get out to the park and catch some great baseball.
