After a long winter of snow and cold temperatures, Open Day of the 2026 Men's AAA Baseball Season has finally arrived. Like last year, we will be covering leagues all across Canada. This year, we will be covering 11 leagues across seven different provinces. The leagues included are:

 

*Nova Scotia Sr. Baseball League (Nova Scotia)

*New Brunswick Sr. Baseball League (New Brunswick)

*Ligue de Baseball Majeur du Quebec (Quebec)

*Coba Major Baseball League (Ontario)

*Greater Toronto Baseball League (Ontario)

*Can Am Baseball League (Ontario)

*South West Baseball League (Manitoba)

*Border Baseball League (Manitoba)

*Prairie Men's Baseball League (formerly QVBL) (Saskatchewan)

*Saskatoon Sr. Baseball League (Saskatchewan)

*Sunburst Baseball League (Alberta)

 

Games start tonight as the Sunburst League in Alberta opens with two different contests. In one game, the Edmonton Cubs (0-0) will travel to Centennial Park to take on the Sherwood Park Athletics (0-0) while the other game will feature the defending league champion Red Deer Riggers (0-0) taking on the Calgary Diamondbacks (0-0) at Webber Athletic Park.
