We have been busy at CABC Baseball Headquarters over the last little while. Not only have we been plugging away at some early season content as well as our popular National Top 10 Pre-Season Rankings article, we have also now finalized our schedule for the 2026 CABC Gold Bat Invitational Tournament. The tournament is set to take place again in Sarnia, Ontario from June 12th - 14th with the beautiful Errol Russell Baseball Park acting as home base again for this year's event. Games will be also played at Blackwell Park in Sarnia, Eric MacKenzie Field in Courtright and Morrison Field in Petrolia.

Our tournament field once again this year is a who's who of Men's AAA Baseball in the province of Onatrio. Included in this years event are the defending Ontario Elimination Champions the Leaside Leafs of the Greater Toronto Baseball League. The host Sarnia Brigade of the Southwestern Baseball League will be back as well to defend their 2025 Gold Bat title. We are also very happy to welcome our first team from outisde of Ontario as the Michigan Braves will make their way back to the great, white north to take part in some tournaments in Canada.

Other teams attending include: the Brampton Royals, Erindale Cardinals, Waterloo Tigers, Burlington Brants and Milton Red Sox of the COBA Major Baseball League. The Thornhill Reds, Newmarket Hawks and Kendal Eagles join Leaside from the Greater Toronto Baseball League. The Brigade will be joined by the Ilderton Riverhawks of the Southwestern Baseball League and the Windsor Stars and Tecumseh Thunder return from the Can Am Baseball League

Games kick on on Friday evening at 6:00pm. Games will run all day on Saturday at all four venues. The semi-finals will take place on Sunday morning at 10:00am at Errol Russell Park and Blackwell Park with the championship final taking place at 1:30pm at Errol Russell Park. All games that are being played at Errol Russell will be livestreamed (with commentary) on the CABC YouTube Channel thoroughout the weekend.
